BEFORE YOUR SESSION:
Your session fee should be paid in full on the day you book your session. This secures your session date and time. After I receive your payment I will send you an online agreement form. It’s a short questionnaire about you and your family, what to expect during your session and how to prepare, and business practices. We will determine location and time of day. If you have a place in mind, great! If not, I am more than happy to discuss location ideas and I’m always on the hunt for new places to explore.
I understand that things happen, and if you must reschedule, please notify me as soon as possible and we will find another date together. The session fee of $50 is non-refundable, but does ensure rescheduling to a mutually agreed upon date.
WHAT WILL YOUR SESSION BE LIKE:
For Child and Family sessions, please plan on 1 to 2 hours. I will take the time to get to know your child and want them to feel like we are playing, not performing. We will do a couple of wardrobe changes if you like and take plenty of breaks. My most natural images come from sessions that consist of play and normal interaction. While we may do some posing, the majority of the shoot will be more like a play-date! My goal is for you say that you had fun! And to produce images you will love and adore, of course!
It is best to photograph newborns within their first 2 weeks of life. At this age they are still sleeping, curling up and are easier to pose. Please plan on 2-3 hours. We will take many breaks for feeding, diaper changes, etc. I am very patient with newbies. I understand that we have to work around their schedule =) I will do whatever we need to do to make sure we get the images you are looking for.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! You don’t need to be matchy-matchy! Have fun! Colors and textures photograph well…do stay away from busy prints. They take a lot away from you!
WHEN WILL MY PROOFS BE READY?
Your proofs will be ready in about 2-3 weeks after your session. Your images will be presented to you through an online private gallery. A link with a password will be emailed to you. You may share this with your friends and family =)
Your site will be live for about a week. You must place your order within that week. I will email you instructions on how to select your images. After a week, your photos will be archived. If you decide you want to order more prints after the photos are archived, a minimum of $100 purchase is required.
